For Ashley's first Halloween, she dressed up as Winnie the Pooh. Ash
LOVES her Pooh Bear and I was very excited to find a little costume for
her while we were in Chicago. The night before Halloween, we got
together with all of the Beck side at Coldstream for a fun dinner and
magic show for all the kids. Then on Halloween, Tyler took Ashley
around our street to "trick or treat" to a few houses and then we had a
nice evening with homemade chili, apple cider, and pumpkin pie. I must
say, Halloween is much more fun with kids!

Chicago
Tyler had business in Chicago for a week and so Ashley and I decided to
tag along with him. I had never been to Chicago, so I took advantage of
the opportunity to get to the city while Ashley was still young enough
to easily tote around with me. Since Tyler was there on business, I was
basically on my own during the day. I was a little nervous about that
at first, but I actually found it to be a lot of fun. I put Ashley in
the Bjorn and went anywhere I could reach by walking, well anywhere
close enough to reach between Ashley's naps. It was a really fun week
and I'd love to go back again!
Michael Jordan's Steakhouse. Ty was SO excited to find this! |
This was a common occurrence. What a tough life! |
We even met up with friends Chris and Austin (so sad we didn't get a picture with Austin!) |
The Beecher's come to Cincinnati
My parents and brother David came to visit us the beginning of October and it was so fun to have them here! We did a lot of shopping and touring the city. Of course, all they really wanted to do was be with their grand-baby, Ashley. We had a great time with them and hopefully they can come back soon!
David performed his first diaper change while he was here. Ashley was a little skeptical. |
