Family Trip to NYC

It has been a tradition in my family that each of the kids get to pick a family vacation to celebrate their senior year of high school.  This being Alison's senior trip, she chose New York as the family destination, and we were thrilled to go!  It was great for us all to be together as a family and we had a fabulous time!

After 6 days in New York, we felt like professionals on the subway.

Tyler found his favorite food, even in the big city.
We saw Wicked, a family favorite.

On top of The Rock, such a great view of the city.

Waiting to board the boat to take us to the Statue of Liberty.

Ground Zero.  The memorial and new buildings are incredible!
I can't wait to go back when they are all finished.

The only tree that survived the attacks.
 Wall Street.
We went to Lombardi's, the first pizza place in America.
 Central Park was beautiful!
 Metropolitan Museum of Art.

 New York Temple.
 We also saw Lion King.
Great Shakes!
Times Square, this place is packed no matter what time it is.
Our 1am run for some appetizers
Phantom of the Opera, Tyler's favorite and a classic.
We just love Broadway.

We ran into this chocolate bar/restaurant before we headed to the airport.

We had such a fun vacation!  Our legs are sore from walking EVERYWHERE, but it was well worth it!  Thanks Ali for picking a great place and thanks Mom and Dad for providing a fabulous trip!
