All Moved In!

After four months of anticipation, we closed on our very first home on August 2, 2012.  We are so excited to finally have a place to call our own!  It has taken a little while to get all settled, but it has been fun for me to put it all together and I think after a month it finally feels like home.

At closing with our awesome realtor, Jen

Ashley was in good hands as we were busy with the house.
This is her first tea party with the cousins!

Thanks to all who helped with the move, especially Ty's family for help moving and watching our little Ashley!

4th of July

It is crazy how quickly July came!  We had a much more eventful 4th of July than we had initially planned.  We woke up early to get to all the "4th of July Sales" for appliances and furniture that we needed for our new home and then planned to come back for the Anderson parade and then a party at the Beck's home later that afternoon.  Well we successfully got to some of the sales, but in the meantime, I managed to lock our only set of keys in the jeep and we were stranded at the mall for about an hour before roadside assistance came to save us.  Luckily, we had Ashley with us outside the car and we were at a place where we could be in air conditioning and somewhat entertained (or just spend more money).   Needless to say, we missed the Anderson parade but did get to enjoy the family at the Beck 4th of July party.  Happy 4th!

Tyler's Birthday

Tyler turned 26 years old!  We celebrated at Tyler's parents house with his family the Sunday before with an ice cream cake from Graeters, Tyler's favorite.  Then on his birthday we went out to eat at Carrabas and ended the night opening presents.  Hope you had a great birthday Ty!

The Big Move

Tyler was offered a job as an Assistant Brand Manager with Procter and Gamble and I am so proud of him!  With this great opportunity, it also meant that we would be relocated to Cincinnati Ohio.  After long days of organizing, packing, and entertaining Ashley by toys and movies, we watched our stuff go on a moving truck and got on a plane.  It was tough to say goodbye to the place we called home for so long, but we are very excited for this new chapter.

Saying our Goodbyes

Okay, not really goodbyes because I hate saying that.  We have recently moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and as excited as we were to start this new chapter, it was harder than I thought it would be.  Tyler has been living in Utah for 6 years and for me its been 4 and we've established ourselves and made such great friends that it was tough to move on to something else.  Well before we moved, we had a little get together with a bunch of our buddies.  Unfortunately we didn't get pictures before everyone left but here are a few from the event.

The little girls loved to play on their own "stage"

Of course, they all won't look at the camera at the same time

Ashley was apparently really excited about this picture
Most of those who came.
We miss Utah and all of our wonderful friends, but we are excited about where we are headed as well!

Arizona Vacation

After Tyler finished school and before our big move to Cincy we decided to take a long vacation down to Mesa to visit my family.  We had a great time!  It was so fun for me to take my daughter to see my home and to see the place where I have so many great memories.  I know she won't remember this trip, but it was still a very neat experience for me.  And of course, we always have a great time getting together with the family!

Tyler looks pretty good pushing that stroller!
Ashley's first airplane ride.  She was so good!
Celebrating my birthday at one of my favorite places.  Crackers!

It was so fun to watch David play in his summer league basketball games!

All the Beecher kids at Ali's graduation.  I can't believe she is going to college in a month!!

I love being in Arizona.  I love the heat, I love the palm trees and the orange trees, the beautiful sunsets and of course my family.  We have such a wonderful time when we are all together and I was so glad we were able to take this trip.  Can't wait to go back for Christmas!
